OCD Midwest funds several scholarship and education opportunities for people committed to advancing OCD and anxiety care. Explore each one below and apply for the ones that fit you.
Rodney Benson Scholarship
In memory of Rodney James Benson, a founding officer of OCD Midwest, this scholarship supports graduate students and new clinicians in the mental health field who focus on OCD and anxiety treatment. It covers full registration for one major conference (ADAA, IOCDF, or ABCT) plus a $500 travel stipend.
Eligibility at a glance:
- Graduate student or clinician within the last 5 years
- Resident of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio
- Focused on OCD and anxiety care
Bill Simpson Foundation Scholarship
OCD Midwest received a grant from the Bill Simpson Foundation dedicated to supporting those with lived experience of OCD in gaining access to resources and support. These funds may help provide financial support to attend conferences related to OCD and mental health, kids camps, community events, and other resources. We hope these scholarships help reduce the isolation that many individuals and families struggling with OCD may feel, and provide access to tools and resources that can help address OCD symptoms earlier in life.
